In addition to our students, faculty, and staff, the UNM-Taos library is proud to offer our services to members of the greater Taos community.
To sign up for a card, come to the library with a picture ID or proof of residence (such as: a piece of postmarked mail with your name on it, a rent receipt, utility bill, etc.) or fill out a library card application below.
Community members can check out library materials with their community borrower card. Five items may be checked out at a time and a total of 10 materials may be checked out on a patron's card.
Along with borrowing library materials, community members are also welcome to use library computers and the copier/printer located in the Pathways building. Copies are 10 cents per page.
The library also extends interlibrary loan privileges to our community borrowers. Each interlibrary loan request is $10. There is a limit of 10 interlibrary loan requests per week per patron.
